This individual will be responsible for:

This Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for securing cloud and virtualized environments, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines using infrastructure-as-code practices. They manage vulnerability and incident response, produce technical documentation and reports, collaborate with development and cybersecurity teams, and mentor colleagues while staying current on evolving cloud security trends and best practices.

 

 

We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:

·       Experience & Education: 5–8+ years of progressive experience in cloud or systems engineering, with a focus on hybrid and virtualized infrastructure

·       Deep hands-on experience securing AWS services (IAM, EC2, S3, CodeBuild, CloudWatch, AWS Config) is the centerpiece of this role, since the position’s primary focus is securing Amazon Web Services cloud resources.

·       Strong ability to integrate security tools (Fortify, SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, etc.) into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins), along with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) for secure, automated deployments.

·       Knowledge and application of cybersecurity compliance frameworks (especially CMMC v2.0 Level 2), including evidence collection, remediation, and maintaining secure environments aligned with standards like FedRAMP and STIG/CIS benchmarks.

·       Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
