Job Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Infra & DevOps Engineer to manage, enhance, and scale Microsoft Azure infrastructure with a strong focus on Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and high-availability enterprise applications. This role is critical to ensuring system reliability, scalability, security, and performance across digital and integration platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Infrastructure Management

• Administer and optimize Azure environments, including resource provisioning, cost management, security, and monitoring
• Manage Azure API Management (APIM) gateways, policies, and API lifecycle processes

Containerization & Orchestration

• Deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Develop and maintain Helm charts, CI/CD pipelines, and container registries

High Availability & Disaster Recovery

• Design and implement resilient architectures to support mission-critical integration platforms
• Ensure robust failover strategies, monitoring, and incident response for 24/7 operations

Automation & CI/CD

• Create and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
• Collaborate with development teams to automate application deployment and infrastructure provisioning

Monitoring & Observability

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Conduct root cause analysis and proactive performance tuning

Security & Compliance

• Apply DevSecOps best practices to ensure secure configurations and compliance with IT policies
• Partner with Information Security teams on threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and secure deployments

Database Operations

• Manage MongoDB and Azure Cosmos DB environments, including deployment, configuration, monitoring, security, and high availability
• Drive performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, scaling, and cost optimization

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly AKS and Azure API Management (APIM)
• Proven experience managing MongoDB and Azure Cosmos DB in production cloud environments
• Experience supporting high-availability, low-latency enterprise systems
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises integrations
• Knowledge of secure secrets, certificates, and access management practices
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and enterprise change management processes

Certifications (Nice to Have)

• Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-305 or AZ-400
