Great opportunity for a Senior Manager Cloud Security Architecture --- Chicago, IL.... Hybrid.
3 days a week in the office.
NO C2C candidates. Must be self-represented. No sponsorships.
Compensation: $150k-185k, with generous employee benefits. Direct Hire.
OVERVIEW:
- Lead the cloud security initiatives reporting to the SVP, Chief Information Security Officer. This role is critical in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure and services.
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security architecture,
- This includes designing and implementing security controls, conducting security assessments, managing security risks and ensuring the cloud environments follow a security-by-design methodology.
- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud security principles and governance, extensive experience in designing and implementing secure cloud architectures with a variety of cloud platforms, and the ability to lead a team of security professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud security strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Architecture Design: Design and implement secure cloud architectures for various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) ensuring robust security controls and compliance.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate cloud security risks through continuous monitoring and proactive measures.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cloud security architects and engineers, fostering a culture of security excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT, DevSecOps, and other stakeholders to integrate security into cloud development and deployment processes.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, PPIPL, ISO 27001) and manage audits and assessments.
- Incident Response: Collaborate with the Global Cybersecurity Incident Response leader to ensure appropriate processes are in place to address cloud security incidents for timely and effective remediation.
- Innovation: Stay current with emerging cloud security technologies and trends and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our security posture.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a cloud security role.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or equivalent.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of cloud security architectures, cloud-native security tools, and best practices for securing cloud environments.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing security teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and strategic mindset.
