Are you looking for an innovative, fast-paced, highly-collaborative environment? If so, come join Worldwide Retail Growth and Development! The Worldwide Retail Growth and Development team is responsible for the strategic planning, acquisition, design, construction, launch, and maintenance of Amazon Worldwide Grocery Stores' real estate assets. This includes Whole Foods Market, Amazon Grocery Stores, and Amazon Grocery Logistics. We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager - Tech to align the vision and set the roadmap for 1P Platform products that support Amazon's grocery network expansion. This role is heavily involved in AI initiatives, from defining and scoping the highest value AI applications in the organization, to playing a crucial role in setting the direction in developing 1P vector databases and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) system design for tech teams to execute.
Key job responsibilities
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for 1P Platform products, including strategy, roadmap development, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment. Define and maintain a 3-year product roadmap that aligns with organizational objectives and evolving AI/ML advancements, ensuring prioritization reflects business impact and technical feasibility. Lead the design and implementation of backend GenAI infrastructure, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, orchestration layers, and the transformation of unstructured 1P data into vector embeddings for semantic search and inference. Translate complex customer problems into clear, technically grounded product requirements for engineering and applied science teams, with a deep understanding of LLM capabilities, data constraints, and system performance. Establish and track success metrics (latency, relevance, adoption, engagement, and model performance) to evaluate product health and optimize for business and user impact. Proactively identify horizontal GenAI use cases across Amazon teams to drive reusability, platform extensibility, and network effects.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
