Job Details

HIRE Technology is seeking an experienced Sr Project Manager to lead a global Workday Advanced Compensation implementation. This role oversees all aspects of scope, schedule, budget, and quality while driving day-to-day delivery across multiple workstreams. The Project Manager will build clear plans, coordinate resources, and partner closely with stakeholders to ensure timely decisions, aligned expectations, and smooth execution.

100% Remote with occasional visit to client site

6 month Contract with strong potential for extension

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Ownership: Lead all aspects of projects to deliver approved business functionality to Client.

  • Planning & Execution: Define and execute project scope, approach, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and budget.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with all stakeholders and dependent projects to develop detailed schedules.

  • Lifecycle Management: Handle change requests, issue management, risk management, and status reporting.

  • Budget Oversight: Manage project budgets, including purchases, contracts, monthly spend, and resource forecasting.

  • Vendor Management: Facilitate purchase requisitions and onboard third-party resources.

  • Risk & Issue Resolution: Address low-risk issues or scope changes; escalate higher risks to senior team members.

  • Communication: Occasionally develop and deliver presentations to stakeholders.

  • Methodology Application: Apply or adapt techniques and methodologies to solve project-related challenges.

Requirements:

  • Project Management Experience: Minimum of 5 years 

  • Workday Expertise: Deep knowledge of Workday Advanced Compensation required, with strong experience in global implementations.

  • Global Scope: Lead advanced compensation implementation for annual merit and bonus cycles across approximately 15 countries.

  • Localization: Establish compensation statements in local languages (approx. 5 languages).

  • Cross-Cultural Coordination: Ensure compliance and consistency across multiple regions and languages.
