Looking for Python Backend Developer with API development, ETL, and Data pipeline experience.
Hybrid Onsite: 4 days onsite per week from Day1 with a transition to 100% onsite expected soon.
Skills and Experience Needed for this role:
- Serverless architecture experience with Azure Functions or AWS Lambda (serverless scalable design, geospatial familiarity)
- Python backend development for data management with cloud storage and database integration (familiarity with data lake/HNS)
- PostgreSQL and database operations including schema management, SQL, optimization (familiarity with geometry types)
- Large file ETL processing experience (500MB+ files, batch operations, memory management in serverless)
- Production data pipeline development with error handling, retry logic, idempotency, and monitoring
- REST API development and integration (consuming external data APIs, exposing pipeline status endpoints)
- Modern development practices including AI-assisted development, structured code organization, and collaborative debugging
