Title: Sr. Release Engineer - W2
Location: Alpharetta, GA - Onsite
Client: ADP

Pay: $65/hr
  • Seeking a hands-on Release Engineering Architect to lead CI/CD modernization, manage complex multi-environment deployments, and mentor DevOps teams. The candidate will architect and enhance pipelines, integrate security, and optimize performance across AWS, OpenShift, and on-prem infrastructures.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Design and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/CloudBees.
    • Manage multi-tech deployments (Java/Spring Boot, Python, Angular).
    • Oversee AWS, OpenShift (OCP), and VM-based release workflows.
    • Implement Docker/Kubernetes container orchestration.
    • Embed security scans (SAST/DAST/SCA) and vulnerability checks into pipelines.
    • Manage Tomcat clusters and Spring Boot releases.
    • Optimize deployments across Linux, Windows, and macOS.
    • Automate workflows using Terraform/CloudFormation.
    • Lead pipeline optimization, performance tuning, and team mentoring.
    Technical Expertise
    • CI/CD: Jenkins (CloudBees), Git, Maven/Gradle.
    • Languages/Frameworks: Java, Spring Boot, Python, Angular.
    • Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda), OpenShift, VMs.
    • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
    • Security: SonarQube, Snyk, Veracode, Checkmarx.
    • Monitoring: APM & observability tools.
    • IaC: Terraform (preferred), CloudFormation.
    • OS Environments: Linux, Windows, macOS.
    Core Attributes
    • Proactive leader with hands-on implementation skills.
    • Strong troubleshooter and change driver.
    • Excellent mentor and communicator promoting DevOps best practices.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • 5+ years in Release/DevOps Engineering.
    • CloudBees Jenkins and AWS Certifications.
    • Experience with OpenShift, Tomcat clustering, and Java enterprise apps.
    • Background in security & performance optimization.
    • Knowledge of Agile/DevOps practices.
