Sr. SAP Application Consultant

Location: Remote
Position Type: Contract (up to 30 hours/week)
Start Date: Early January
Duration: 3 months with strong likelihood of extension
Option for Full-Time: Considered for an exceptional candidate

Overview

Our client is seeking a Sr. SAP Application Consultant with broad functional and technical capability across multiple modules. This role is designed for a versatile generalist who can take full ownership of tasks, operate independently, and provide meaningful workload relief to the Director. The ideal consultant brings a strong understanding of cross-module processes, integrated applications, and the ability to deliver end-to-end support without the need for ongoing oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional and technical support across multiple SAP modules: MM, FICO, PM, SD.
  • Operate as a techno-functional resource, connecting business process needs with system configuration and technical impacts (including Basis awareness).
  • Support and maintain SAP-integrated third-party applications, including:
    • SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) admin experience preferred
    • BlackLine
    • Concur admin experience preferred
  • Manage assignments from initial understanding through execution with minimal follow-up required.
  • Troubleshoot issues across modules and collaborate with internal teams to resolve system and process challenges.
  • Support operational enhancements, configuration updates, and ongoing maintenance tasks.
  • Deliver consistent, reliable outputs that enable leadership to delegate confidently.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Broad SAP background with hands-on experience across MM, FICO, PM, and SD.
  • Strong techno-functional skillset with the ability to understand configuration, integration points, and technical considerations.
  • Experience with integrated applications such as SAC, BlackLine, and Concur.
  • Ability to work independently, absorb requirements quickly, and deliver complete solutions with limited direction.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
