The Role
Fidelity Investments is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to join our Financial Planning squad. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, modern web technologies, and quality engineering. You will play a key role in designing and implementing robust test automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality delivery of Angular-based applications, and contributing to the overall engineering excellence of our products. You ll work closely with developers, product owners, and quality engineers to build scalable and maintainable test solutions using Cypress, Cucumber, Angular, REST, DevSecOps, AWS, and other modern technologies. Your contributions will directly impact the customer experience and product reliability.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science (or closely related)
4+ years of development full-stack development experience with, designing, developing and maintaining multi-tier internet facing web applications using Angular, Node, Nest, and proper test automation frameworks in a fast-paced Scrum environment
2+ years of Responsive & Progressive Modern Web application development.
Make significant contributions to our technology platform
Experience with Test Driven Development frameworks.
Experience with iOS and Android application development and testing.
Application build, deploy using Continuous Integration/ Deployment (CI/CD) tools -- Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, etc.
Understanding of docker, cloud-computing / cloud services platforms (e.g. AWS or azure).
Strong demonstrated experience in delivering software solutions in an Agile environment
Passionate about quality engineering best practices and end-to-end test automation
Certifications in AWS or Azure or Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms.
Creative, Innovative and Problem-Solving skills are a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills needed for agile team
