Role: Sr. Salesforce Administrator

Reports to: Director, Revenue Operations

FLSA: Exempt

Location: Raleigh, NC

Why is this role important at Genesee Scientific?

The Sr. Salesforce Administrator will lead the ongoing development of Salesforce.com and associated business application utilization. Working closely with functional leaders and subject matter experts, this role will identify, develop, implement, and optimize business processes primarily within Salesforce. These processes support functions including Marketing, Sales, Customer Support & Success, and more.

What you will you do

  • Serve as the primary Salesforce administrator, managing user accounts, reports, dashboards, workflows, and overall system maintenance
  • Optimize Salesforce utilization, including budgeting and vendor management
  • Lead the evaluation, scope, and execution of new Salesforce development initiatives and process improvements across marketing, sales, and client delivery workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes within Salesforce and ensure alignment with business needs
  • Oversee system testing, training, deployment, and documentation for Salesforce changes and updates
  • Conduct system audits, manage data feeds and integrations, and prepare for required upgrades
  • Develop and execute the Salesforce and business applications roadmap, ensuring scalability, performance, and security requirements are met
  • Provide technical leadership, promoting best practices and fostering cross-functional collaboration
  • Coach and mentor teams to enhance Salesforce adoption and operational excellence
  • Maintain a comprehensive Salesforce training program and ensure technical documentation is up to date
  • Research and recommend new Salesforce features to improve efficiencies


What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent technical education and experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in technical leadership roles on the Salesforce platform
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator credentials (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud)
  • Extensive experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Knowledge, Einstein Analytics, and Marketing Cloud
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, processes, and best practices
  • Proficiency in Salesforce administration tasks such as Process Automation, Flows, Dashboards/Reports, Lightning Web Components, Object Maintenance, Entitlements, and RBAC
  • Ability to design solutions that are maintainable and scalable
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Desire to work as part of a team, but also able to work independently and solve problems quickly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Teams; experience with other business management software is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and effectively manage multiple priorities

Compensation: Starting Salary at $80,000.00, with potential for increase based on experience.
