Job Summary (List Format): Senior Software Engineer (NYC/NJ, Hybrid, W2 Only)
- Build and maintain core modules for workflow orchestration, case management, and automation in a next-generation private markets platform.
- Develop scalable backend services using modern architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven systems).
- Contribute to agentic (AI-driven) infrastructure for automated task execution.
- Design and extend data abstraction layers to unify disparate systems of record.
- Develop robust APIs and integration frameworks to connect with GPs, fund admins, CRM systems, and document repositories.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, ensuring system performance and reliability.
- Participate in design and code reviews, optimizing for scalability, observability, and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, architects, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and support team growth, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure architectural integrity, security, permissioning, and audit logging, especially within financial services environments.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- (Preferred) Familiarity with LLMs or agentic AI frameworks.
- Minimum 6+ years of backend or platform engineering experience, ideally in fintech or private markets.
