Sr. Software Engineer

Job Description:

• This position is responsible for developing enhancements including front-end, back-end, and database components and integrations for the Maximo work and asset management system utilizing Java, SQL, and JavaScript. Workers in this role operate within specialized application areas and require minimal supervision, demonstrating proficiency in relevant concepts and procedures. Key responsibilities include identifying and resolving problems, designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

• As a member of a Scrum team, this role will contribute to updating and improving Maximo by adding new functionalities and resolving issues across various business units. Typical functions involve creating innovative solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients, and working alongside other developers to define, design, and deliver new features, enhancements, and technical solutions aligned with organizational needs. The position also entails researching, evaluating, and deploying new technologies to maximize application efficiency and usability, supporting testing and code migration across test environments, and ensuring compliance with design, coding, and source control standards.

Experience:

• Maximo experience (required)
• Strong Java, SQL, and JavaScript skills (including frontend JavaScript development)
• Backend development with Java
• Experience using REST APIs and Postman
• Solid understanding of data structures and SQL
• Object-oriented programming proficiency
• Eagerness to learn new programming languages
• Experience with GitHub

Skills:

• Top Required skills :- Maximo, Java , (SQL or Oracle) , Rest API, JavaScript, AWS

Education:

• Bachelor s degree preferred
