Title: Sr. Underwriter.

Location: New York, NY (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full Time

Compensation
Pay Range:$140,000-$200,000 per year

Description
Part of a global insurance and investment organization.
Focuses on providing property and casualty insurance solutions.
Contributes to the profitable growth of businesses in a dynamic market.
Responsible for the development and growth of a business portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow the book of business.
Manage portfolio including solicitation and underwriting analysis.
Prepare and issue indications, quotations, and binders.
Market and promote insurance products.
Track rate movements and loss activity within the portfolio.
Travel to key markets/accounts to maintain visibility.

Qualifications
10 years of underwriting experience, with some environmental experience preferred.
4-year degree in engineering/science, business administration, insurance, or similar.
Proven track record in managing an insurance portfolio.
Developed relationships with wholesale and retail brokers.
Proficiency in presentation skills and general office software.
