Vendor Program Sr. Analyst

The Vendor Program Senior Analyst job is responsible for building relationships with vendors and third-party service providers, ensuring that they comply with the organization's third-party risk management policies, procedures, and regulations. This job also identifies and evaluates potential vendors and assesses their suitability for the organization's needs. Working under moderate supervision, this job guides business partners and other stakeholders in completing program requirements, maintains the program and procedures, and understands regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Drives performance and conducts oversight of vendor risk management lifecycle activities including risk assessment, due diligence, ongoing monitoring, issues management, and termination
  • Oversees activities related to the vendor management program framework, training, tools, and systems to ensure compliance
  • Reviews and configures data to ensure quality and accuracy of inputs into the vendor management systems
  • Performs analysis for program reporting and metrics and provides audit and regulatory responses as needed.
  • Assists in vendor issue disposition and resolution
  • Coordinates with other stakeholders including but not limited to sourcing, control partners, and risk partners to ensure smooth collaboration with vendors
  • Escalates issues or delays to management as needed
  • Coordinates with business unit owners and control partners to prepare and present vendor due diligence results to the Supplier Risk Governance Committee as needed

Educational Requirements
  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience
  • 2+ Years Required; 3+ Years Preferred

  • 2+ years' experience with vendor risk or operational risk management, audit, or compliance


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years' experience with vendor risk or operational risk management, audit, or compliance
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, legal, or other related discipline
  • Masters / Advance Degree in business, legal, or other related discipline
  • Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) or Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager (CRVPM)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools; specifically, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Experience with Coupa Risk Assess system preferred
  • Knowledge of third party and risk management processes and methodologies preferred
