We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer with a stellar track record to be a technical, hands-on leader for this critical area. You will define the frontend strategy for the Marketplace, bridging the gap between complex data systems and intuitive, delightful user interfaces.

- AS A STAFF SOFTWARE ENGINEER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
- Deliver Customer Impact: Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers to shape the future product direction and deliver meaningful value to our customers
- Architect the Future: Design and build the next generation of user experiences for the Snowflake Marketplace, ensuring a reliable and highly performant platform that delivers value to our customers and partners.
- Drive Technical Vision: Be the primary owner of the technical roadmap for the team. You will identify key challenges, propose innovative solutions, and lead their execution, setting the standard for engineering excellence.
- Elevate Engineering Culture: Act as a force multiplier for the team. You will mentor junior engineers, champion best practices, and lead by example in coding, testing, and user-centric design, helping to cultivate a world-class engineering organization.
OUR IDEAL SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER WILL HAVE:- Deep Technical Leadership: 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, defining project scope, setting technical direction, and guiding complex projects from concept to launch.
- Frontend Mastery: 10+ years of hands-on experience building complex, high-traffic web applications.
- Modern Ecosystem Expertise: Significant proficiency with modern TypeScript, React, and the broader JavaScript ecosystem.
- Product Passion: A genuine passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a relentless drive to deliver measurable value to customers and partners.
