Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for Production development & Support (DevOPS) on payment system services handling Real time data.
Responsible for Handling and solving Production bridges independtly.
Technically very sound and must have ability to guide and groom junior team members.
Responsible to debug code, give code fix, build jar and deploy in production as and when required.
Monitor processing, and ensuring timely execution, delivery, and availability.
Develop and maintain ETL, API (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
Responsible for Production development & Support (DevOPS) on payment system services handling Real time data.
Optimize data storage solutions, including databases, data lakes, and cloud-based storage systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, API to ensure reliability and performance.
Implement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive information.
Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for data workflows, architecture, and processes.
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of data architecture and pipeline design.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or similar.
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) and services related to data storage and processing.
Experience with data warehousing solutions like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
