Shift Information:

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Onsite position!
  • Pay range starts at $55+/hr!
  • 12+ Month contract to start! This is a W2 Contract (No 1099/C2C), with a possibility of extension or conversion beyond the original duration based on performance & budget at that time.

Job Description:

  • Position is primarily responsible for designing, developing, and documenting embedded and system-level software for highly regulated medical devices, supporting full product lifecycle activities from concept through release.
  • Position will also be responsible for developing real-time, high-performance 2D/3D visualization and graphics software on Linux platforms, including multithreaded applications, GPU-accelerated processing, and real-time data rendering.
  • Position will be in charge of technical decision-making, software architecture contributions, test strategy execution, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring solutions meet safety, performance, quality system, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science is required / Master s degree or higher is preferred.
  • 6+ years of software development experience (or equivalent advanced research experience) is required!
  • 5+ years of Object-Oriented design with C++ on Linux, including multithreaded real-time systems, is required.
  • Strong graphics and GPU programming experience (OpenGL, CUDA, 2D/3D rendering, performance profiling, computational geometry) is required.
  • End-to-end software lifecycle experience in a regulated environment, including requirements, testing, documentation, and manufacturing transfer, is preferred.
  • GUI development experience using Qt/QML is preferred.
