Role : Storage Engineer
Location: NJ/ Midtown, NY (Hybrid)
Duration: Long term
Job Description:
- 10+ years enterprise-level experience supporting SAN, NAS, and backup technologies in banking environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in low-latency, high-availability infrastructures.
- Hands-on experience with EMC, NetApp, PureStorage, or equivalent enterprise storage platforms.
- Backup infrastructure support (e.g., Commvault, NetBackup, Rubrik).
- Familiarity with Fibre Channel, iSCSI, multipathing, zoning, and LUN provisioning.
- Proactive incident and problem management (ITIL-aligned).
- Able to assist in project deployments, migrations, and firmware upgrades.
- Experience in automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) desirable.
- Clear communication skills for working with operations, vendors, and internal customers.
