- Seeking an experienced IT/Technology Project Manager to lead the conversion and implementation of key customer-facing applications from one vendor to another.
- This is a critical, time-sensitive project that directly impacts customer satisfaction and business continuity.
- The PM must be an accountable problem-solver with a proven track record of managing large, complex software projects.
- Responsible for the successful initiation, planning, development, administration, risk management, implementation, control, and closure of large-sized projects across multiple business units through the Program and Project Management department.

responsibilities:
- Lead Vendor Conversion: Manage the full project lifecycle for a large-scale software conversion, including planning, execution, and closure.
- Coordinate Across Projects: Effectively collaborate with other project managers and IT leadership to manage competing priorities and shared resources.
- Navigate Challenges: Proactively identify and resolve technical complexities, setbacks, and delays.
- Manage External Partners: Drive work by managing vendors, system implementers, and consulting partners.
- Communicate and Report: Develop and execute communication plans to keep stakeholders informed on project status, risks, and progress.
- Ensure Smooth Transition: Upon project completion, oversee the transition of deliverables to operational teams, ensuring all documentation and training are complete
qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in IT software project management, specifically managing large-scale, time-sensitive projects.
- strong history of managing projects using the Waterfall SDLC methodology is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- 100% remote, but the candidate must work Central Time Zone hours (8 AM - 5 PM).
