Job Title: Workday Application Developer
Scope of Work / Background
The organization is seeking a Workday Application Developer to support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financial Systems. The role includes integration development, Workday configuration, reporting, technical support, and collaboration with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Development & Configuration
-
Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations using EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).

Configure Workday business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, and custom validations.

Build and maintain Workday custom reports.

Troubleshoot and resolve system and integration issues.
2. Integration Management
-
Build and support integrations between Workday and external systems (HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, etc.).

Monitor integrations, resolve failures, and correct data inconsistencies.
-
Document integration design, configurations, and data flows.
-
Optimize existing integrations for better performance and reliability.
3. Reporting & Analytics

Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics.

Work with business users to understand reporting needs and develop Workday solutions.

Automate report scheduling and distribution.
4. Support & Collaboration
-
Provide technical support to end users.

Maintain system documentation including design specifications, workflows, and configuration guides.

Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to align Workday functionality with business needs.

Participate in change control and configuration management processes.

Gather and document requirements for enhancements or fixes.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years experience administering or supporting enterprise systems such as Workday HCM, Payroll, Financials, reporting tools, or web services.

Equivalent experience may substitute for education (up to 4 years).
Preferred Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Deep understanding of business processes and ability to translate them into technical solutions.

Strong collaboration and communication abilities.

Proven experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, and Financial modules.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Hands-on Workday experience in implementation or post-production support.

Workday certifications or equivalent experience.
Required Submissions

Must pass all required background checks.

Must obtain and wear an organization-issued security badge while on-site
