Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated RF Systems Intern to join our team in Frederick, MD. This internship provides an opportunity for individuals to gain valuable hands-on experience in the development, integration, testing, and production of RF systems. You will work closely with seasoned professionals in the field and contribute to real-world projects that impact defense and intelligence operations

Job Responsibilities
Work closely with and assist Systems engineers on various systems engineering activities
Carry out basic work instructions that will help in understanding the fundamentals of the Company and also learn new things
Conduct limited scope testing under the supervision of engineers
Complete assigned tasks on time
Gather and assemble data for engineers
May be required to help in research in a particular field
Conduct design analysis, calculation, RF performance simulations, and/or system modeling under the supervision of Systems Engineers and Architects
Assist engineers with appropriate design details
Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network
Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs, and practices
Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization

Qualifications

Education:
High school diploma or GED, currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related technical discipline.

Technical Skills:
Foundational understanding of RF systems, signal processing, or electromagnetics through coursework or projects.
Familiarity with tools such as Ansys, SPICE, Python, and/or Excel for modeling, simulation, and data analysis.
Exposure to linear algebra, probability & statistics, and differential equations, supporting the analysis of complex RF and SIGINT systems.
Interest in open-standard architectures and modular system design principles.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate trade-offs in high-performance system architectures, such as dynamic range and signal integrity.
Interpersonal & Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to technical discussions.

Desired Knowledge / Experience:
Coursework or hands-on experience in communications systems, digital signal processing, or RF engineering.
Familiarity with system integration and test environments, especially in modular or scalable architectures.
Exposure to complex variables, Fourier analysis, or control systems is a plus.
Interest in SIGINT mission applications and the role of advanced RF technology in supporting them
