Description

Responsibilities:

Plan and oversee the inbound movement of materials from suppliers to meet production schedules.

Assess material requirements and collaborate with purchasing, production, and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflows.

Develop and refine specifications for new contract orders to align with organizational needs.

Monitor supply chain processes and address issues to maintain operational efficiency.

Apply sound judgment and prior experience to resolve challenges and optimize planning processes.

Work independently to manage supply planning tasks while adhering to established procedures.

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance of materials.

Utilize knowledge of materials handling and production workflows to improve supply chain operations.

Collaborate with engineering teams to align material specifications with project requirements.

Maintain accurate documentation and records related to supply planning activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
Strong understanding of supply chain procedures and materials handling processes.
Ability to work independently and apply expertise with attention to detail in decision-making.
Proficiency in planning processes and coordination with multiple teams.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity with supplier management and contract development.
Knowledge of production workflows and engineering requirements.
Competence in office functions and the use of relevant software tools.
