Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a contract with a client in Plano, TX. will be responsible for managing service operations, generating reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure service continuity and improvement.
Rate Range: $47/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour

System Administrator job responsibilities include:
- Monitor and maintain system performance by ensuring uptime, reliability, and optimal functioning of servers and network infrastructure.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across systems to maintain security and compliance.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to safeguard data and ensure system integrity.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime.
- Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures, including security protocols and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs and assist in system upgrades or migrations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of hands-on experience in system administration and IT infrastructure support.
- Proven expertise in managing Windows, Unix, and network environments with strong troubleshooting skills.
- ITIL Foundation certification and experience in incident, change, and problem management processes.
