System Engineer - VMware Cloud Services

Role: Systems Engineer - VMware Cloud Services
Location: State of MD, Crownsville,MD -This is 2 days hybrid in Crownsville.
Duration: Long-term

Required Skills:

2 years' experience with deploying, configuring, and securing VMware products, including ESXi, vCenter

2 years' experience with configuring, and securing Windows and Active Directory

2 years' experience with VMware product line - vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vRealize, NSX-T and other Infrastructure components

2 years' experience with vCenter, ESX Maintenance activities. This includes patching and upgrades.

2 years' experience with Installation & Troubleshooting of VMware ESXi Servers & vCenter. This includes -- support of VMware and windows environment by resolving the escalated tickets for the internal customers.

1 year experience with Linux or UNIX administration and automation

1 year experience with Oracle dB setup and replication.

Other Skills Valuable to this Position:

Strong understanding of Windows server and desktop operating system

Experience with VMware/Citrix Experience, User profile management and Application Virtualization

Experience with scripting in PowerShell

Migration to AWS lift and shift.

Strong knowledge of storage systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
