Description:
Job Title: System Administrator
Location: Providence RI - Fully Onsite
Employment Type: Contract 6+ Months

Overview:
Seeking a skilled and motivated System Administrator (O365). This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical expertise in SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and ITSM environments who thrive in collaborative, fast-paced settings. The System Administrator will manage, maintain, and optimize Microsoft 365 services, support user requests, and contribute to platform enhancements and governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage SharePoint Online services, including permissions, compliance, and access controls
  • Administer and configure OneDrive, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services
  • Develop and maintain advanced Web Parts using scripting and programming tools
  • Collaborate with ITSM administrators to support development and administrative tasks
  • Implement and enforce governance policies, including site provisioning and permissions management
  • Support audits, compliance initiatives, and risk assessments related to SharePoint data governance
  • Respond to SharePoint-related incidents and service requests
  • Assist business units with user training and adoption strategies
  • Maintain documentation on configurations, policies, and procedures
  • Co-manage integrations with Power Automate, Power BI, and other Microsoft Power Platform tools
  • Support automation and administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training in IT management
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online administration and best practices
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 services, including Teams and OneDrive
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration
  • Understanding of ITSM environments and administrative workflows
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Proficiency in developing advanced Web Parts using programming/scripting tools
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) or Customer Experience platforms
