We are looking for a Systems Administrator. This position is to be in San Diego, CA for a 1 year contract. If you are an experienced Systems Administrator that is in charged with installing, supporting and maintaining servers or other computer systems and planning for and responding to service outages and other systems issues - APPLY NOW!





Job Descriptions:





  • Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.




  • Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability and administer network security measures.




  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.




  • Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.




  • Perform routine network startup, maintain logs related to network functions and shutdown procedures and maintain control records.




  • Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.




  • Analyze equipment performance records to determine the need for repair or replacement.




  • Provides objective advice, expertise and specialized skills with the aim of creating value, maximizing growth or improving the performance of their clients.




  • May serve in an executive assistant/advisory role to a high level government official in support of large complex programs.




  • Has expertise and operates across one or more industries and variety of services such as business strategy, manpower planning, policy analysis, management controls, information technology, e-business and operations.




  • Primarily concerned with the strategy, structure, management and operations of an organization.




  • Identifies options with recommendations, and/or the implementation of solutions.




  • Projects may be complex, involving multiple products and computer environments.




  • Works as a project leader on medium-sized (site/location), single or multi-effort projects, single or multiple computer environment implementation projects.




  • Designs complex approaches, applications or solutions.




  • Utilizes project management skills of communication, presentation, time management, organization and planning to successfully implement company's products.
