A Systems Administrator role in the Healthcare/NHS industry is currently available at Robert Half for an experienced individual who possesses a thorough knowledge of networking and load-balancing. How you will make an impact
- Keep servers, load-balancers, and data storage in service across various locations
- Participate in service capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance evaluation, and system tuning
- Guide and develop new designs, architectures, standards and methods for large-scale distributed systems
Requirements
- Experienced in crafting, analyzing and fixing large-scale distributed systems
- A good understanding of HTTP traffic, content delivery and caching
- Knowledge of network operating systems - as well as programming or scripting language - is desired
- System administration experience desired
- Foundational knowledge in VMware
- Strong familiarity with Windows Server 2019
- Practical knowledge of Azure Stack
- Proven knowledge of Hypervisor
- Quality experience with Microsoft Office 365
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server
- Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Azure
- vSphere experience
- General familiarity with Windows Azure
- Command of clustered and virtual storage solutions
