Description
We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team on a long-term 6 month contract basis in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and maintaining IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, and providing exceptional support to internal users. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a range of technologies, including Active Directory, Windows Server, and Intune.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Active Directory, ensuring seamless user account and group policy configurations.
Oversee and support Windows Server environments, including installations, updates, and troubleshooting.
Provide technical assistance for Windows 10 systems, resolving software and hardware issues as needed.
Utilize Intune and other MDM technologies to manage and secure mobile devices within the organization.
Collaborate with team members to deliver effective server support and ensure system reliability.
Address service tickets, providing excellent customer service and timely resolutions to end-user issues.
Perform routine system maintenance tasks, such as backups, updates, and performance monitoring.
Assist in optimizing IT infrastructure by implementing best practices and identifying areas for improvement.
Document technical procedures and maintain system records for reference and compliance.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT role.
Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory environments.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, including versions 2012 and later.
Hands-on experience with Windows 10 operating systems.
Familiarity with MDM technologies, particularly Intune, is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong customer service skills with experience handling service tickets and end-user support.
A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on maintaining accurate system documentation.
