Job Title: Systems Analyst (ETL Analyst/ Engineer)

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support and enhance enterprise-level data integration, automation, and analytics efforts. This role requires strong expertise in Informatica platforms, SQL development, data testing, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or within a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop mappings and workflows to automate ETL processes using Informatica IICS, IDMC, or PowerCenter.
  • Acquire and integrate data from diverse sources including Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and Adobe PDF.
  • Design and implement complex, high-performance SQL scripts.
  • Perform data analysis and contribute to performance management systems or data warehouse initiatives.
  • Author technical documentation, diagrams, and models using tools like Visio or Erwin.
  • Utilize Python for data testing, automation, and scripting.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
  • Contribute to project quality through comprehensive test planning and execution.
  • Evaluate and communicate business risks related to testing and implementation.
  • Ensure confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with Informatica ETL tools (IICS, IDMC, or PowerCenter)
  • 8+ years of integrating data from multiple technologies
  • 8+ years of advanced SQL scripting and optimization
  • 8+ years in data analytics or data warehousing projects
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency with Python scripting for testing/automation
  • Experience with defect management and quality assurance processes
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio, and MS Project
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience improving automation frameworks
  • Experience with AI-enhanced automated testing
  • Exposure to AI platforms or AI-integrated product validation
  • Familiarity with observability and large-scale testing infrastructure
  • Proven innovation in software quality or test automation
