Systems Engineer (Support)

Proficiency in scripting languages such as:

(Python, PowerShell, Bash/Shell)

Ability to automate tasks, perform log analysis, and integrate with APIs using scripts.

Experience with:

Full stack development (front-end and back-end)

Version control tools (e.g., Git)

DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.

A cyber security certification, such as (AZ-104, SC-300, CompTIA, AWS sysops).

The following experience is CRITICAL:

Experience supporting single sign on authentication standards, such as one or more of the following: SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth or Kerberos.

Additional Skills needed:

Strong TCP/IP knowledge and a strong understanding of network infrastructure.

Knowledge of Active Directory.

Strong operating systems knowledge: Windows and Linux.

Experience of working in a cloud environment such as Azure and / or AWS.

Cyber Security experience/certificates would be a plus

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems/Science, or a closely related field.

Minimum of five years of IT experience in systems engineering or infrastructure support

Experience supporting modern authentication standards such as:

SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth 2.0, FIDO2/WebAuthn

Using platforms like Ping Identity and Microsoft Entra ID.

Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and network infrastructure.

Knowledge of Active Directory, SCIM and JWT.

Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.

Experience working in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS

Excellent problem-solving skills with a commitment to the highest levels of quality.
