**Job Overview**
You ll be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues with hardware, software, and network connections. You'll provide excellent customer service, resolve common issues, collaborate with your teammates and escalate complex problems to senior IT staff when needed.

**Responsibilities**
- Respond to technical support requests from end-users via phone, email, or onsite.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to software, hardware, and network connectivity.
- Provide step-by-step guidance to end-users, helping them resolve problems with minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with your teammates
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support staff as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all support activities and resolutions in the help desk system.
- Assist with setting up and configuring new hardware and software.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and maintain data security protocols.
- Contribute to a knowledge base by documenting common issues and resolutions.

**Qualifications**
- Education** High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or technical certification in IT preferred). College degree a big plus.
- Experience** Prior experience in a customer support or IT support role is required.
- Technical Skills** Firm understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft cloud solutions, and network fundamentals.
- Communication Skills** Excellent verbal communication skills; able to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem-Solving Skills** Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Customer Service Skills** Friendly, patient, and able to handle stressful situations with professionalism.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with help desk ticketing systems (e.g., HaloPSA a plus).
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools and troubleshooting.
- PowerShell experience a big plus. Provide detail in your application
- End user support for SharePoint migration projects a big plus.
