Required Skills



  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required, Master's degree or equivalent experience a plus
  • 5-7+ years of demonstrated hands-on expertise in configuring, deploying and/or supporting highly distributed multi-tiered systems at scale.

responsibilities:


  • Experience managing technology environment stability and availability.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices
  • Knowledge of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and principles.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies, delivery projects, and implementation.


qualifications:


  • Knowledge of basic networking (ping, traceroute, DNS)
  • Experience with search and analytics engines (Splunk, DataDog...)
  • Experience production support systems (Service Now, Udeploy, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Experience with Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systems
  • Experience with workflow design, data analysis, and requirements identification/specification
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies including SaaS solutions in the cloud and AWS/AZURE
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with container orchestration, preferably with Kubernetes
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated technologies
  • Experience with Shell and Python scripting


skills:

  • Production support experience with financial systems
  • Demonstrated creative and abstract thinking.
  • Ability to triage, execute root cause analysis, and be decisive under pressure.
  • Ability to provide 24x7 support for the production environments
  • Experience of docker, cloud-computing / cloud services platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure)
  • AWS Certification a plus
