Description

We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer to oversee and maintain critical systems infrastructure. This role involves managing hardware and software installations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance of iSeries and Power Systems supporting business applications. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in system administration and a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges.

Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain iSeries and Power Systems hardware and software to support business operations.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to system performance and functionality.
Ensure system security and compliance by managing Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments.
Administer and optimize Microsoft Windows Server to maintain reliable system performance.
Manage Citrix technologies to support virtual desktop environments and application delivery.
Support Microsoft Exchange to ensure seamless communication and email functionality.
Perform regular system updates and upgrades to enhance performance and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system requirements and implement solutions.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
Provide technical support and guidance to users and stakeholders.

Requirements

Proven experience with iSeries and Power Systems administration.
Strong skills in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory management.
Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server configuration and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Citrix technologies and virtual desktop environments.
Proficiency in managing Microsoft Exchange for enterprise communication.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues efficiently.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with diverse teams.
