Description
We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in Hartford, Connecticut. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of systems infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Citrix, cloud platforms, and server management, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain systems infrastructure, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Manage Citrix technologies to optimize virtual desktop environments and application delivery.
Implement and support cloud-based solutions, including AWS technologies, to enhance organizational efficiency.
Develop and execute PowerShell scripts for automation and system management.
Perform comprehensive root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Maintain and upgrade Windows Server environments, specifically Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server 2019.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to ensure reliability.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices for future reference.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience with Citrix technologies and virtual desktop environments.
Expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS technologies.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management.
Strong analytical skills for performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server 2019.
Ability to design and implement scalable and reliable systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams.
Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and proactive system management.
