Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team as a Systems Modeler. The primary role of this position is to develop, analyze, and maintain complex system models to support the design, development, and integration of advanced systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, modeling, and simulation, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
You will develop and maintain complex system models using various modeling tools and languages like SysML and UAFML, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate system models with other engineering disciplines and cross-functional disciplines. And develop and maintain system architecture and design documentation.
Specific responsibilities of this role include:
-Work in a MBSE modeling environment to ensure accurate system representations and behavior.
-Support development of processes and architecture models, delivering artifacts and collaborating with functional teams.
-Develop system model management approaches and concepts as well as implementing model analysis and execution
-Collaborating with IT, Cybersecurity and Data Admins for tool deployments and access
-Work vendor agreements in alignment to technical specifications and requirements of our portfolio solutions
Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree from a accredited university
-Self-driven, curious, and comitted to outperform
-Understanding of systems engineering principles
-Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
-Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Desired skills
-Proficiency in SysML, Cameo and other MBSE related tools and skills
-Digital Transformation Experience
-SW Developer experience
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex systems and data

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
