Systems Engineer V
San Francisco, CA (Fully Onsite)
Contract (6 Months + Possible extension)

Pay Rate: $100-115 an hour on W2 (DOE)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff/Principal SDE: AWS Expert

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of professional experience
  • Integrate and deploy a local data caching solution for extremely large datasets.
  • Launch and manage S3 buckets (via CDK).
  • Develop a pipeline for uploading local data caches to the cloud.
  • Ensure correct handling of sensitive and non-sensitive data.
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
  • Experience leveraging S3 cloud storage.
  • Experience with high bandwidth, sustained data transmission.
  • Familiar with AWS best practices.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript for CDK development.
  • Experience with Python for cloud services implementation (preference).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS Compute, AWS Databases, AWS Step Functions, EventBridge
  • Experience with AWS Fargate, ECS, EKS
  • Experience with data infrastructures and large data transfer in the autonomous vehicles industry
  • Experience with AWS IoT services
  • Experience with data streaming services (Kinesis, Kafka)
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
