Systems Integration Developer - Remote - Prince Edward Island - Canada

Scope of the Service
The scope of the services may include, but are not limited to:
Designing and developing integrations through APIs by using various tools such as Postman;
Developing mapping of various source and target data types (database, flat file, x12, json, XML) with various transport mechanisms (SQL, REST HTTP, SOAP, FTP, FTPS, Email, etc.);
Collaborating with onboarding teams, developers, and others;
Providing defect analysis and resolution support for system and user acceptance testing;
Creating and maintaining API RAML or file specification documentation;
Creating data extraction, cleansing and formatting scripts; and
Documenting custom logic specific to individual integrations.
Systems Integration Developer possess an enhanced understanding of the technical environment and the functional expectations of the software, as well as a keen desire to independently learn and recommend new software.
Qualifications:
The resource must have the following experience:
Resources must possess, a minimum of, 5 years of experience directly related to programming;
Experience designing and/or implementing web applications;
The resource must possess 5 years of demonstrated experience in:
o Writing code that was well designed, tested and put into a production environment;
o Developing or supporting web applications;
o RESTful API design & development;
o Data mapping and transformation skills using modern integration platforms such as MuleSoft;
o Experience working in a cross functional development environment;
o Version control such as Git or Azure;
o Automation servers such as Jenkins;
o Shell scripts, such as Bash.
o CI using software such as Jenkins, Azure and Git.
