Job Description

The Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) department in Grand Prairie, Texas is seeking an experienced System Integration and Test Engineer for the Lower Tier Integrated Air Missile Defense (LTIAMD) program area to serve as the Engineering & Technology Manager (ETM).

What You Will Be Doing

The ETM will be responsible for assessing IT&E staff planning, inputting new requisitions, and aligning staff to meet dynamic critical needs. The ETM will also be responsible for career development of current IT&E staff, performance assessments, coaching/mentoring, and providing feedback. The position requires excellent leadership skills and demonstration of all the tenants of Full Spectrum Leadership. The ETM will collaborate with existing IAMD ETMs to support department initiatives as well as driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution for the Line of Business (LOB).

In addition to the ETM role, the candidate will serve as the program's Integration and Test Lead and Control Account Manager (CAM). Key responsibilities include: Support Systems Engineering to distill System Level Requirements down to Test Requirements; Generate the Master Test Plan, Resource Allocation Matrix, IT&E inputs to the Program Integrated Master Schedule; Write Test Procedures for Design Verification Tests and Qualification Tests; Coordinate with Test Facilities to schedule testing, to develop tooling and fixtures to support tests; Prepare Test Readiness Review (TRR) Packages; Conduct Development Verification Tests (DVT) & Qualification Tests and Write Test Reports for each test event.
Other responsibilities include Supporting Supplier planning, DVT, and Qual Testing and support subcomponent and subassembly electrical and mechanical integration of pathfinder and flight test hardware for subsystem acceptance testing. As required, support Test Engineering with Test Station Development, Integration, Verification, and Validation using "Golden Units" - qualified Unit Under Test or Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) assets. The effort may include coordinating with external test facilities or ranges depending on the results of make/buy trade studies.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years or more of professional experience.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
Demonstrated Project or Technical leadership experience
Engineering management or Engineering team lead
experience including task planning, budget management, and/or employee development and mentoring
Experience with hardware integration and/or hardware testing
Full Product Lifecycle Development Experience
Interim Secret Clearance required to start

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
