Title: Senior ITP Network Engineer
Location: Sprinfield, VA
Clearance Requirement: Current TS/SCI & ability to obtain DHS EOD SCI.

This role is with a Northern Virginia-based, small federal technology firm that delivers mission-critical data management, advanced analytics, application development, and IT services to national security customers.
The Role:
You will help sustain and evolve the network enterprise that underpins an Insider Threat Program. The program uses advanced analytics, monitoring, and data correlation to identify and mitigate insider threats across the department, protecting government facilities, systems, and information in support of its mission.

The Role:

The program uses advanced analytics, monitoring, and data correlation to identify and mitigate insider threats across the department, protecting government facilities, systems, and information in support of its mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain the ITP network infrastructure, including routine maintenance, availability and capacity management, upgrade planning, and system recapitalization guidance.
- Oversee the High Speed Guard Cross Domain solution enabling secure data transfer between multiple classification domains.
- Maintain and update documentation to accurately reflect the network and system configuration baselines.
- Design and support system recapitalization plans to accommodate capacity growth and customer-directed changes.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for all aspects of the ITP network infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated prior leadership responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain technical documentation, analyses, and reports.
- Experience preparing and delivering briefings to senior customer leadership and stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of:
- Defense-in-depth principles
- Network / hardware / software security architecture
- Network topology
- IT device integrity and common security controls
- Ability to obtain DHS EOD SCI.
- Master's degree in IT Management, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 10+ years of proven experience in IT service delivery management.
- Experience with User Activity Monitoring (UAM) products and platforms.
- Experience with the Everfox High Speed Guard platform.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
- Existing DHS clearance preferred.
- CCNP or higher-level networking certification.
- Experience with ForcePoint and/or FirePower.
