Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Tapping Machine Technician to join our team and ensure the proper maintenance, performance, and safety of industrial tapping machinery. Ideal candidates will bring hands-on mechanical expertise, particularly from diesel mechanics or similar roles, and a strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems. This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined professionals looking to expand into a specialized, high-demand manufacturing role. Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on tapping machines and equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble machinery components as needed
Monitor machine performance and ensure compliance with safety and production standards
Accurately document maintenance procedures and communicate with team members

Qualifications and Requirements:
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar mechanical role
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and basic electrical components
Ability to work independently, read schematics, and follow maintenance schedules
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus
Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to safety

The base salary range for this position is $58,240 $62,400, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
