Custom Business Solutions, a Michigan-based talent agency, is seeking an experienced Technical Analyst for a remote or hybrid workplace opportunity in mid-Michigan. Qualified candidates submitting an application will be considered for this contract opportunity. Local or EST candidates are preferred. Subject to hybrid on-site requirements in future.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILL SET:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience, including support for hardware, software, and operating system issues, including researching, testing, and communicating potential solutions for clients

  • Proven experience in the following technologies and skillsets: SQL query optimization, OOP, web services (REST or SOAP), support/incident ticketing systems

  • Familiar with testing processes and running code for a Java application in debug mode

  • Ability to review software changes and determine system impact

  • Strong SQL knowledge: extracting data from databases by creating new or altering existing SQL queries, SQL query optimization, refining queries and database structures to enhance data retrieval.

This role involves supporting Business Units by resolving issues around enterprise applications developed in Java/J2EE technologies. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between the system and end customers, while developing technical solutions and analyzing issues.
