Our client is looking for Technical Analyst for a long-term project in Arizona, below is the detailed requirement.

Duration : Contract

Job description:

  • Must have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field is often preferred
  • Strong proficiency in T-SQL and Snowflake for data analysis.
  • Good Experience with cloud data platforms in Azure.
  • Proven understanding of database security best practices and compliance frameworks, particularly HIPAA.
  • Data Analysis & Interpretation: Conduct comprehensive data analysis on large, complex healthcare datasets (e.g., claims, member enrollment, provider information) to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs. Translate these business requirements into clear, concise technical specifications for our data engineering and development teams.
  • SQL Querying: Write and execute complex SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate data from various relational databases. You will be the go-to person for ad-hoc data requests and validation of new data pipelines.
  • Data Validation & Quality Assurance: Perform detailed data validation and reconciliation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within our data warehouse and reporting systems. Proactively identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and diagnose data discrepancies and technical issues, working closely with data engineers and DBAs to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for data dictionaries, data lineage, business logic, and reporting processes.
  • Domain Expertise: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the healthcare payer business, including claims processing, benefits administration, provider networks, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Experience in a healthcare payer or provider environment, with a strong understanding of healthcare data (e.g., claims, enrollment, provider data).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, agile team.
