Akkodis is seeking a Technical Architect for a contract with a client in McLean, VA. The candidate will lead scalable solution development and oversee system integrations while guiding development teams and ensuring technical excellence.
Rate Range: $49/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Architect job responsibilities include:
- Lead the architectural design of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Oversee the development and customization of Salesforce applications, including custom objects, workflows, and AI-driven components.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions that enhance customer experience.
- Design and manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs and middleware.
- Stay current with Salesforce innovations and AI technologies, continuously improving architecture and delivery processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture, including leadership in enterprise-level implementations.
- Proven expertise in designing scalable, secure Salesforce solutions and integrating AI agents into customer-facing applications.
- Strong technical leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide development teams and collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT.
