Role Overview

The Senior Technical Lead DevOps / SRE will lead and mentor technical teams in designing, implementing, and maintaining DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering practices. The role focuses on automation, CI/CD, Kubernetes orchestration, Python-based tooling, and system reliability, while ensuring high-quality software delivery and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor DevOps/SRE teams using Python and Kubernetes.

  • Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery.

  • Establish and standardize DevOps processes across development, testing, release, and support lifecycles.

  • Develop and maintain automated deployment, monitoring, and incident management workflows.

  • Review, validate, and troubleshoot application code and infrastructure issues.

  • Monitor systems throughout the lifecycle to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance.

  • Implement cybersecurity best practices, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation.

  • Perform incident management and root cause analysis (RCA).

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and customers.

  • Track KPIs, customer experience metrics, and provide periodic status reporting.

  • Drive continuous improvement and DevOps maturity across the organization.

Mandatory Skills

  • DevOps: Jenkins, Groovy

  • Programming: Python (Primary), Java (Spring Boot)

  • Containerization: Kubernetes

  • Logging & Observability: Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana (ELK)

  • Strong troubleshooting and RCA skills

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

  • Understanding of Cucumber

  • Experience with SRE practices

  • Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
