If you're ready to change the way the world moves, join us at BlueOval Battery Park Michigan, a new state-of-the-art facility in Marshall, Michigan. You'll be a key part of the launch team that will help bring the electrification revolution to driveways, job sites, and highways everywhere. BlueOval Battery Park Michigan will produce the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells to power the next-generation Ford EV passenger vehicles and trucks under development. This new wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company will create more than 1,700 jobs when production begins in 2026.

This role will start remote and then will be working hybrid out of Marshall, MI, with expectation to be on-Site at Marshall once building construction and timing is established (relocation package available).

You'll also...
  • Serve as the IT owner of HR Management Systems (HRMS); Partner, collaborate and develop positive relationships with HR functional Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) and subject matter experts (SME) to understand business needs in support of launching the new subsidiary.
  • Support Operating Model blueprinting and HR Use Case definition.
  • Partner with functional stakeholders to identify and analyze business operation capabilities and data requirements and map them to ERP / HRMS system configurations.
  • Lead the evaluation / selection of HRMS, system integration partners, payroll management, and benefit administration software platforms; Advise functional teams on business process impacting system options, risks, and cost vs. benefits.
  • Lead the implementation of the HR systems, ensure compliance with corporate security standards and seamless integration with other ERP and internal or partner Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • Develop and manage system launch plan.
  • Lead day-to-day implementation activities; Communicate implementation status including timelines, issues, risks and changes to stakeholders at various forums.
  • Set HRMS end-to-end test strategy, develop system and regression test cases, lead system testing.
  • Support user training and post launch incident management.


You'll have...
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in computer science, information systems, or other related fields.
  • Must have experience managing large program requiring cross-functional team collaboration to implement SaaS ERP/HRMS/HRIS solutions, preferably in manufacturing space.
  • Experience facilitating meetings and driving positive outcome with diverse group of audience.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to draft reports and communications in a professional manner.

It is anticipated that within 30 days of your employment with Ford, you will become a secondee of BlueOval Battery Michigan LLC. A secondee is an employee who will continue to be employed by Ford Motor Company but work at BlueOval Battery Michigan, Ford's wholly owned subsidiary. Afterwards it is anticipated that within 8 months of your employment with Ford, you will become an employee of the Ford's fully owned subsidiary of BlueOval Battery Michigan LLC.
