Job Title: Technical Project Coordinator/Analyst

Job Location: Houston, TX

Job Duration: Long Term Contract

Exp Level: 3-6 Years

Job Description:

The Technical Project Coordinator/Analyst will help organize and work with software development teams. You will work closely with teams to monitor and report on execution from project inception to completion. A successful candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for technology, comfortable in a fast-paced global environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and budget.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Conducting project reviews and creating detailed reports/pages/dashboards for executive staff.
  • Begin to master Confluence, JIRA, Structure, Smartsheet, Pivot (or other tools as assigned) to perform the role.
  • Coordinating internal resources.
  • Managing project progress and adapt work as required.
  • Managing relationships with clients' internal stakeholders.
  • Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation/communications.
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills.
  • Assist other project managers with their projects as requested.

You must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in the appropriate field of study and 3 to 5 years of software industry experience.
  • Creation and delivery of periodic status reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience of support for both internal and external customers.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively organize and communicate with teams.
  • An understanding of project planning.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
