PLEASE NOTE: This is a 4 month renewable contract and needs to meet Client full-time conversion policies. Those dependent on a work permit sponsor now or anytime in the future (ie H1B, OPT, CPT, etc) do not meet Client requirements for this opening.
TOP SIX prioritize the requirements in this order:
- PMP certification or similar
- RF experience (EMC wireless, blue-tooth, ultra-wide ban, etc
- Excellent communication skills, assertive and confident traits
- Ability to set up and manage sprints/ projects
- ClickUp (or Agile, Jira, Trello)
- Coding or software background (is a bonus skill- in particular Python, JavaScript)
The employee will interact with the internal software team, RF and wireless engineers.
The project is centered around RF test report automation.
The ideal candidate should understand the technical lingo/ content of the reports and have experience in EMC wireless testing.
Experience at companies who use wireless RF ideal like Apple, Amazon, MS, Meta, Garmin, TUV, Intertek, Element, or NTS is a plus.
Introduction: We seek a Technical Project Manager to drive softwarecentric projects supporting RF radio testing and compliance. This TPM partners with software engineering, RF, lab operations, and compliance teams to translate business requests into wellscoped initiatives, maintain Ganttbased schedules, set up and manage sprints, and ensure ontime, highquality delivery aligned to internal lab milestones.
Qualifications:
- PMP certification (PMI) — required.
- 5+ years managing technical software projects in hardware/embedded/RF contexts.
- Proficiency with Click Up for planning and dependency management.
- Proven ability to set up and manage sprints; strong prioritization, delegation, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication; able to articulate tradeoffs, risks, and decisions to engineering and leadership.
- Preferred/Experience: Agile delivery experience; familiarity with tools such as Jira or Trello (not required).
- Nicetohave: Basic familiarity with Python and JavaScript to understand test tooling/automation concepts and data parsing; solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). (This is not a coding role.)
Responsibilities:
Discovery & Scoping:
- Translate requests into epics, stories, and tasks.
- Define acceptance criteria and testreadiness gates.
- Confirm scope, dependencies, and success metrics.
Planning & Scheduling:
- Build and own Gantt schedules in ClickUp.
- Map dependencies and critical path; manage slack.
- Maintain realtime dashboards; flag risks and slippage.
Agile Execution:
- Set up and manage sprints; run daily scrums (standups).
- Enforce sprint tasking and prioritization; track burndown.
- Drive incident/bug followups; capture retro learnings.
RF Test & Compliance Collaboration:
- Coordinate workflows with RF compliance and labs.
- Align software tasks with test plans and lab run sequences.
- Track documentation, approvals, and equipment readiness.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Publish weekly status: schedule variance, risks, readiness.
- Lead changecontrol and decision reviews.
- Keep executives and crossfunctional teams aligned.
Process & Metrics:
- Standardize templates and operating rhythms.
- Monitor KPIs: predictability, defect leakage, MTTR.
- Maintain program trackers and risk registers.
