Job title: Technical Project Manager-Cloud Migration
Duration: 6 months contract (Extendable up to 2 Years)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)

Job Description:

Looking for a Technical Project Manager to develop and maintain complex technical plans, which outline a project or program s tasks, milestone dates, status, and allocation of resources to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:

• Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud migration projects within the PMO, working closely with the Infrastructure and Network Technology team to migrate from on-prem to Azure.
• Act as the point of contact and communicate status to all team members and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, plans and reports to identify areas of improvement.
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project and program execution.
• Drive effective collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders across all functional business areas.
• Manage risk by collaborating, identifying, and tracking all dependencies and risks (technical and non-technical) and exploring mitigation strategies.

Skills:

• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with organizational change management practices within technology implementation projects.
• Solid organizational skills, results driven, and attention to detail.
• Facilitate solution technical alignment discussions.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to interact with technical teams, executives, business teams, and external agencies.
• Ability to manage multiple high priority projects and deadlines at the same time.
• Experience developing project charters, business requirement documents, and other artifacts adhering to standard project frameworks/methodologies.
• Understanding of cloud security and compliance requirements related to migration.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in Microsoft365 suite (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint), Jira, Confluence, and other project/collaboration technologies.

Qualifications:

Overall 10-13 years of experience in IT. 3+ years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on cloud migration projects.
Strong knowledge and understanding of Azure & Google cloud platforms.
Experience facilitating Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development teams to deliver technology solutions on time, on budget, and to spec.
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code principles and tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation a plus.
Proven experience leading and managing complex cloud migration initiatives, including planning, execution, and post-migration activities.
Banking industry knowledge and/or experience is a plus.
PMP certification a plus.
Cloud certification is a plus.
