GoAhead Solutions has an immediate need for a Technical Project Manager-Private Equity Valuation in New York, NY. This would be a Six to Twelve month contract to start out. This would be an onsite position.
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Project Manager to support a Private Equity valuation initiative. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing technical workflows, and ensuring timely delivery of key milestones. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in project management, experience working with financial data platforms, and a collaborative mindset. Key Responsibilities:
-Lead day-to-day project coordination across internal stakeholders and external technology teams.
-Manage timelines, deliverables, and dependencies for valuation-related features and integrations.
-Facilitate UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution.
-Collaborate with business analysts and developers to ensure alignment on technical requirements.
-Support testing and validation across environments.
-Prepare and lead technical discussions, including pre-training walkthroughs and vendor calls.
-Run weekly and monthly project meetings, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
-Track and report project progress, risks, and mitigation plan to senior leadership. Qualifications:
-5 7 years of experience in technical project management, preferably in financial services or fintech.
-Experience managing UAT cycles and coordinating with external tech teams.
-Familiarity with enterprise-level integrations.
-Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
-PMP, Scrum, or Agile certification is a plus. Nice to have:
-Understanding of Private Equity workflows and valuation processes.
