Job Details
Technical Project Manager
Understands the scope of work as defined by business requirements, solution designs, and quarterly commitments (POR) or prioritized backlog (investment Pods).
Identifies, confirms, and secures participation from required cross-functional teams.
Collaborates with the Global IT TPM lead and team partners to align on scope and team involvement.
Builds and maintains delivery plans and program records.
Works with the core team to schedule all work required for end-to-end tech readiness.
Identifies and manages the program s critical path, considering upstream and downstream dependencies.
Tracks and manages the program schedule, analyzing actual performance against the plan.
Ensures program milestones are met and communicates updates on major milestones to stakeholders.
Performs risk management by identifying risk areas, establishing contingency plans, and initiating corrective actions.
Escalates issues early to Global IT Planning & Delivery leadership for support.
Partners with Global IT Planning & Delivery leaders, TPO, and core team members to evaluate and make tradeoffs between scope, time, and cost.
Ensures proper documentation of decisions and changes.
Proficiently uses SmartSheets, Jira, and program planning best practices.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in program or project management within IT or related fields.
